How Did This Accident Occur?

A lot of folks think accidents like this just come down to who had the right-of-way. That’s important, but it’s rarely the only factor to consider. For example, was alcohol involved? How fast was the driver going? Is this area known for being a dangerous place for pedestrians? Even if something seems insignificant at first, investigations should at least rule out other explanations so the victim’s loved ones know they’re getting the full story.
