Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

My hope after accidents like this is always that they got the attention they needed. I see way too many pedestrian accidents go overlooked just because they don’t grab headlines like 18-wheeler wrecks do. At the end of the day, though, serious accidents need serious investigations. So either authorities were able to do their due diligence here, or there may need to be independent investigations to finally get to the bottom of what went wrong. That way, there can be a proper conclusion.
