Travis County, TX — November 3, 2025, a man sustained injuries due to a pedestrian accident at around 7:50 p.m. along Pearce Lane.
Authorities say that the accident happened near the Pearce Lane and Wolf Lane intersection, a few miles east of the Austin-Bergstrom Airport.
According to preliminary statements, a 53-year-old man was on foot at the time in the area of Pearce Lane. A Subaru Legacy was going northwest at the time when it struck the pedestrian. Due to this, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries.
Right now, additional details surrounding the accident are not confirmed.

People can be too quick to assume pedestrian accidents are simple, but they can be as complex as any serious car accident. Road conditions, lighting and signage, alcohol, medical conditions, some sort of emergency—these can all have a significant affect on investigations and the legal avenues available to those involved. As such, it’s important these accidents get the attention they deserve, which it’s not clear right now if that happened.
