San Antonio, TX — December 10, 2025, a man sustained injuries due to a car versus pedestrian accident around 6:30 p.m. on West Nottingham Drive.
According to officials, the incident took place near the intersection of West Nottingham Drive and Broadway.
Investigators said that an 84-year-old man was on foot at the time in the area of Nottingham Drive. While walking, authorities say a vehicle struck the man. This resulted in serious injuries.
Authorities say the vehicle stayed to speak with police. Reports do not mention any pending charges at this time.

People tend to think of pedestrian accidents as simple. They figure the victim either was or wasn’t in a crosswalk, and that’s all there is to it. Like any serious accident, though, there can be complex extenuating circumstances that need careful investigations. Hopefully authorities began working ASAP to preserve as much evidence as possible, otherwise there may need to be independent investigations to get the full story.
