How Did This Accident Occur?

I certainly don’t have any more information about this accident than what’s in the news. Folks may be quick to write this off since, frankly, it’s dangerous for a pedestrian to be on an interstate. No one’s going to disagree with that, but it’s always important to know all the facts.

For example, another deadly pedestrian accident happened in this same are within 24 hours following this fatal incident. Is that a coincidence, or is it a sign there are issues with this area which need to be improved? Better lighting, better signage, a pedestrian bridge or more sidewalks, etc.

That’ll be up to more thorough investigations to say for sure, but it’s enough reason for people to take a second and consider that there’s more to these situations than just looking for someone to blame. If nothing else, the victim’s loved ones deserve to know they’re going to get the full story, whatever that may be.
