How Did This Accident Occur?

A lot of folks assume these kinds of accidents involve either a driver or a pedestrian failing to yield, and that’s that. Obviously, right-of-way is important in any accident investigation, but it’s still just one factor. Pedestrian accidents can also involve things like lack of signage or lighting, poor road design, alcohol, medical conditions, and other extenuating circumstances that might present unique legal challenges. It’s important, then, for investigations to be thorough and cover all of these possible factors. That way, those affected by the crash can work toward the most fair and complete resolution.
