Woman Injured in Car Accident on I-45 at Jackson Street in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — October 24, 2025, a woman was injured following a car accident that happened around midnight along the North Freeway.

According to investigators, the crash happened just off the I-45 and I-69 interchange at Jackson Street.

Investigators said that a 33-year-old woman was on foot at the time in the area of the North Freeway. A passing Jeep Grand Cherokee struck the woman, resulting in serious injuries. Authorities did not release additional details about the accident.

With pedestrian accidents, it’s important to know how thorough the investigations were. A lot of the time, these accidents are overlooked, and people just assume it’s all about who had the right-of-way. Like any serious accident, though, there needs to be a complete picture. If authorities aren’t taking the time to focus on gathering evidence, something important might slip through the cracks.
