Accident Report

July 25, 2026, one person was injured following a car versus pedestrian accident at around 9:25 p.m. along Estes Parkway.

Authorities said in preliminary statements about the accident that it happened in the area of Estes Parkway and Loop 281, just off I-20.

According to officials, a 52-year-old man was on foot in the area of Estes Parkway. A Ford Fusion was going northbound when it struck the man. Due to this, the pedestrian was seriously injured.

Authorities did not release additional details about the accident.

How Did This Accident Occur?

A lot of folks see pedestrian accidents at night and assume that the pedestrian just wasn’t visible or couldn’t have been avoided. That is often true.
