San Antonio, TX — August 9, 2025, a woman was injured as the result of a car versus pedestrian accident at 4:44 a.m. on Culebra Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the collision happened off the corner of Culebra Road and San Horacio Avenue, west of General McMullen.

According to officials, a woman was on foot at the time in the area of Culebra Road. A Chevy Impala was going eastbound. It appears the vehicle struck the woman in the roadway. Due to this, the woman was seriously injured.
Authorities did not release any additional details about the accident.

Despite what people often think, pedestrian accidents are not all about who had the right-of-way, important as that may be. It’s also about how avoidable the accident was. For example, if evidence shows a driver would be able to avoid someone by slowing down or going around them, it would raise serious red flags if they failed to do so. That’s why it’s always important to know the whole story, and there’s just not enough information here to say that we do.
