Austin, TX — September 21, 2024, One person was injured following a pedestrian accident at around 5:20 P.M. on I-35.
An investigation is underway into an accident that left a 16-year-old boy seriously injured during the evening hours of September 21st. According to official reports, a vehicle was disabled in the right shoulder of I-35 South, in the vicinity of 15th St. with its occupants outside of the vehicle. One of the occupants was a 16-year-old boy who was standing in front of the car, when a separate vehicle failed to control their speed and collided into the rear of the disabled vehicle.
Upon arrival by first responders, they found the boy had sustained serious injuries and transported him to a hospital for treatment.
