Paula Martinez Injured in Car Accident in Henderson County, TX

Henderson County, TX — November 27, 2025, Paula Martinez was injured as the result of a car accident that took place at 4:00 a.m. along Payne Road.

Investigators said that the accident happened at the intersection of Payne Road and Caney Creek, a few miles west of Athens.

Authorities said that 55-year-old Paula Martinez was in a Dodge Dart traveling eastbound on Payne Road. Due to factors unclear, the vehicle left its lane, and a crash occurred. Paula Martinez reportedly was seriously injured in the crash.
