How Did This Accident Occur?

One can only hope the worker’s loved ones have better answers for this question than what’s in these public reports, which offer almost zero information. What can surprise folks to learn, though, is that’s often as much as families get from OSHA, as well. OSHA tends to focus on their own priorities, and getting answers for the victim’s loved ones might take a back seat to that. If there are independent investigators looking into things, they may be able to get information and help reveal a path forward for the family. That’s often helpful, considering how challenging Texas work fatality laws are. Even months after an accident, steps can be taken to ensure that a family works toward a resolution that best meets their needs.
