According to initial details, the crash took place at the intersection of Chimney Rock Road and Braeswood Boulevard.
Investigators said that 27-year-old Orlando Mendoza Jr. was in a Toyota Tacoma going southbound on Chimney Rock. A Chevy Silverado was going eastbound. At the intersection, the vehicles collided. Orlando Mendoza Jr. reportedly was seriously injured as a result.
