How Did This Accident Occur?
Police say this crash happened after a truck driver fell asleep on the road, but it’s not clear at this point what kind of truck was involved in this accident.
Was it a semi-truck driven by a professional driver? Or a rental truck driven by someone who didn’t need a commercial driver’s license? Each one has different standards on the road, but you still expect any driver to stay awake or pull over to get some rest.
Investigators should look at the truck’s maintenance records to try to figure out why it flipped over. That shouldn’t happen under normal circumstances.
