Accident Report
New Braunfels, TX — June 5, 2026, a pedestrian was killed in a truck accident at about 8:30 a.m. on the frontage road for Interstate 35/Monarch Highway.
Authorities said a flatbed truck hit a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk on the northbound frontage road as it exited a parking lot south of State Highway 46/State Highway Loop 337.
The pedestrian, a 30-year-old New Braunfels resident, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
The truck driver, who remained at the scene, is not facing any criminal charges at this time, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Comal County crash.
