Accident Report

Duval County, FL — September 15, 2026, a pedestrian was killed in a truck accident at about 7:20 p.m. in a truck stop parking lot on Brandy Branch Road near Baldwin.

Authorities said a semi-truck hit a pedestrian while making a turn in the parking lot of Love’s Travel Stop near Interstate 10 and U.S. Route 301.

The pedestrian, a woman whose name has not been made public yet, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, authorities said.

The truck driver, who is cooperating with investigators, reportedly said he did see the woman as she was walking across the parking lot, according to authorities.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Duval County crash at this time.
