Accident Report

Westbrook, ME — August 10, 2026, one person was killed and another was injured in a motorcycle-truck accident at about 12:40 p.m. at Saco Street and Eisenhower Drive.

Authorities said a semi-truck and a three-wheeled motorcycle collided at the intersection.

A passenger on the motorcycle, a 41-year-old woman from French Polynesia, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to authorities, while the driver, a 59-year-old Windham woman, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Their names have not been made public yet.

The truck driver, a 37-year-old East Waterboro, was not hurt, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Cumberland County crash at this time.
