How Did This Accident Occur?
Single-vehicle accidents don’t always get as much attention from authorities as other crashes, in my experience. That is especially true if that vehicle is a motorcycle, as in this instance. Consciously or not, people tend to assume motorcycles crash because their riders were careless, so families who are grieving after motorcycle accidents often have to seek out qualified investigators to tell them what happened.
It’s not that authorities don’t care, it’s just that many of them aren’t well-versed in the unique dynamics of motorcycle accidents. That is why outside experts are often needed.
