Accident Report

Allen, TX — July 18, 2026, an Anna man was killed in a motorcycle accident at about 2:30 a.m. on Sam Rayburn Tollway.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2012 Suzuki GSX-S750 motorcycle was heading northeast when it crashed into a 2024 GMC Sierra that was stopped in a traffic lane near Chelsea Boulevard/Hardin Boulevard. Impaired visibility also may have played a role in the collision, according to the report.

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old Anna man, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report. His name has not been made public yet.

The GMC driver, a 55-year-old man, was not injured, the report states.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Collin County crash at this time.
