New Braunfels, TX — September 9, 2026, one person was killed in a motorcycle accident at about 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 35/Monarch Highway.

Authorities said a southbound motorcycle crashed near the Schmidt Avenue overpass before being struck by multiple vehicles.

The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities. His name has not been made public yet.
