Jefferson County, MO — July 15, 2026, a St. Louis man was killed in a dump truck accident at about 2 a.m. on State Route 30 north of Cedar Hill.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2006 Sterling dump truck lost control while heading west near Gravois Road, going off the right side of the road and down an embankment before hitting several trees.
The truck driver, a 59-year-old St. Louis man, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report. His name has not been made public yet.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Jefferson County crash at this time.
