Olathe, KS — July 31, 2026, one person was killed in a dump truck accident at about 9 a.m. on 159th Street.
Authorities said a white SUV and a dump truck collided head-on near the intersection with South Lone Elm Road.
The SUV driver, a 53-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities. His name has not been made public yet.
The dump truck driver was not injured, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Johnson County crash at this time.
