Accident Report

Dallas, TX — April 27, 2026, Jovanni Lopez was killed in a car accident at about 2 a.m. in the 2900 block of North Walton Walker Boulevard/State Highway Loop 12.

Authorities said a northbound sedan crashed into a motorcycle while trying to avoid a flatbed truck that was stopped near Singleton Boulevard. The collision knocked the motorcycle into the trailer.

The motorcyclist, 18-year-old Jovanni Raphael Lopez, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Dallas County crash at this time.
