Accident Report
Houston, TX — April 3, 2026, Eduardo Lux Luis was killed and four others were injured in a car accident just after midnight at Pierce Street and Hutchins Street.
Authorities said a Dodge Charger and a Toyota Corolla collided at the intersection just south of Interstate 45/Gulf Freeway.
A passenger in the Toyota, 19-year-old Eduardo Lux Luis, died after being taken to a nearby hospital, along with the other four people in the car at the time of the crash, according to authorities. One person was in critical condition, while the others suffered unspecified injuries.
The Dodge driver suffered minor injuries, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Harris County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.

At this point, there is no way for anyone to know which driver caused this crash from the information that has been made available so far. The best anyone could do with that is guess, which doesn’t help anyone. The best bet is to wait until the investigation is complete.
