Atlanta, GA — August 22, 2026, one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident at about 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 20/Ralph David Abernathy Freeway.

Authorities said a Toyota RAV4 was heading east when lost control, possibly after a tire blowout, and hit the center wall near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard NW. It then caught fire after veering off the road and crashing into a wall.
