Dallas, TX — August 27, 2026, one person was killed and two children were injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 5:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Alabama Avenue.

Authorities said a vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree at the intersection with Georgia Avenue.

The driver, whose name has not been made public yet, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Herndon Park, according to authorities.

Two children in the back seat of the vehicle were hospitalized with unspecified injuries, authorities said.
