Accident Report
Jasper County, KS — June 17, 2026, a Webb City man was injured in a truck accident at about 3:50 p.m. on State Route 96.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a westbound 2024 International semi-truck and an eastbound 2023 Ford Bronco collided west of Oronogo. Both vehicles went off the south side of the road after the crash.
The Ford driver, a 42-year-old Webb City man, was flown to a Joplin hospital with serious injuries after the crash, according to the report. His name has not been made public yet.
The truck driver was not injured, the report states.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Jasper County crash at this time.
