Accident Report

Oakland County, MI — June 17, 2026, one person was injured in a truck accident at about 5 a.m. in the 4400 block of North Lapeer Road/State Highway 24.

Authorities said a 2014 Buick Regal was heading south when it collided with a northbound 2024 Western Star semi-truck that was using the turnaround north of West Oakwood Road.

The Buick driver, a 30-year-old man from Attica Township, was hospitalized in critical condition after the crash north of Oxford, according to authorities.

The truck driver was not injured, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Oakland County crash at this time.
