Cass County, ND — September 18, 2026, a Buffalo man was killed in a truck accident at about 8:45 a.m. on Interstate 94 west of Casselton.

Authorities said a 2022 Ford Escape crashed into a 2022 Peterbilt semi-truck near mile marker 325 then overturned in the median.

The Ford driver, a 47-year-old Buffalo, ND resident, was seriously injured in the crash, according to authorities. His name has not been made public yet.

The truck driver, a 63-year-old Texas man, was not injured, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Cass County crash at this time.
