Linn County, IA — July 21, 2026, one person was injured in a truck accident at about 3:45 p.m. on Avenue of the Saints/Interstate 380 near Center Point.
Authorities said a semi-truck was heading north near mile marker 38 when one of its tires failed, causing it to crash through the guardrail and into Blue Creek.
The truck driver, a 60-year-old La Porte City man, was airlifted to an Iowa City hospital with unspecified injuries after the crash near mile marker 38. His name has not been made public yet.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Linn County crash at this time.
