Christian County, KY — August 5, 2026, one person was injured in a truck accident at about 10:30 a.m. on Interstate 24 near Oak Grove.

Authorities said a westbound semi-truck crashed into another semi-truck that was stopped in traffic at mile marker 86 because of an earlier accident.

One driver, whose name has not been made public yet, was flown to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries after being extricated from the truck, according to authorities.

No other injuries were reported.
