Accident Report

Sabine County, TX — September 17, 2026, one person was injured in a fuel truck accident at about 8 a.m. on F.M. 201 south of Pineland.

Authorities said a semi-truck hauling jet fuel overturned after leaving the road, trapping the driver in the wreckage.

The driver was flown to a Shreveport hospital with unspecified injuries after emergency personnel freed him from the truck, according to authorities. His name has not been made public yet.
