How Did This Accident Occur?
Most people assume that the rider did something wrong when a motorcycle crashes, but in my career I have seen countless instances of motorcyclists getting injured in accidents that were not their fault. I hope the investigators assigned to this crash are able to focus on the facts, without any inherent bias.
That is why it is helpful to have investigators who have experience motorcycle accidents. They know what evidence is most important and understand the important of seeking an in-depth inspection of the motorcycle to determine if a mechanical issue contributed to this crash.
