How Did This Accident Occur?
Most people are quick to blame the rider after a motorcycle crash like this, but I’ve found these accidents are often more complicated than they look. Maybe this crash happened because the rider couldn’t handle the curve. Maybe it swerved because of an object in the road. Or maybe it crashes because of an issue with its throttle or brakes.
Authorities should consider those possibilities as they investigate this accident, gathering physical evidence, witness statements and any available video footage. A seasoned investigator would push for an inspection of the motorcycle to determine if a mechanical problem contributed to this crash.
A thorough investigation should answer any questions the injured motorcyclist has about this accident.
