Accident Report

Lake Jackson, TX — August 16, 2026, one person was injured in a hit-and-run accident at about 1 a.m. on F.M. 2004.

A preliminary accident report indicates that an eastbound 2021 Ram 2500 collided with a 2011 Ford Focus that was stopped at the intersection with Yaupon Street. The pickup did not stop after the collision.

A passenger in the Ford, a 59-year-old woman whose name has not been made public yet, suffered serious injuries in the crash, according to the report.

The driver, a 63-year-old man, was not injured, the report states.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Brazoria County crash at this time.
