Bastrop County, TX — June 23, 2026, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident at about 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Easley Road/County Road 280.
A preliminary accident report indicates that an unknown vehicle was heading southwest when it hit a pedestrian without stopping.
The pedestrian, a 67-year-old woman, was seriously injured in the crash west of Smithville, according to the report. Her name has not been made public yet.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Bastrop County crash at this time.
