San Angelo, TX — August 31, 2026, an e-bike rider was injured in a car accident at about 8 a.m. in the 100 block of State Street.

Authorities said a Buick sedan hit a man on an e-bike after turning left from Paint Rock Road/F.M. 388. The cyclist had been stopped at a red light.

The e-bike rider, whose name has not been made public yet, was hospitalized with a broken leg after the crash near Goodfellow Air Force Base, according to authorities.

No other injuries were reported, and no citations have been issued at this time, authorities said.
