Beaumont, TX — August 29, 2026, one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 5:10 p.m. in the 7200 block of Helbig Road.

Authorities said a vehicle overturned after it rear-ended another vehicle then crashed into a tree.

The driver of the overturned vehicle, whose name has not been made public yet, was hospitalized in critical condition after the crash, according to authorities.

The other driver was not injured, authorities said.
