Accident Report

Lynn County, TX — June 7, 2026, one person was injured in a car accident at about 11:45 p.m. on F.M. 1730 north of New Home.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a northbound 2023 Nissan Kicks and a southbound 2022 GMC Sierra near the junction with County Road J.

The Nissan driver, a 59-year-old woman, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. Her name has not been made public yet.

The GMC driver, 18, was not injured, the report states.
