Accident Report

Scurry County, TX — May 4, 2026, one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. on F.M. 1142 north of Dermott.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2006 Ford F-150 was heading north when it left the road and crashed into a fence near F.M. 2127.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. His name has not been made public yet.
