Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
In my experience, people too often brush aside these early-morning single-vehicle accidents and jump to all kinds of conclusions. However, they can involve many different factors. It’s important for families to know, at least, that all of those possibilities have been explored thoroughly. Everything from road hazards to medical episodes to vehicle defects to tire blowouts should be included in a proper accident reconstruction. If the initial investigations aren’t taking steps to consider these possibilities and preserve evidence, it can leave families with more questions than answers. That’s when a crash may need independent investigators looking things over so nothing important slips through the cracks.
