July 6, 2026, Nyagitta Lee was injured as the result of an alleged drunk driver accident at 12:06 a.m. along US 90-Alt.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened in the area of the US 90-Alt and Willowbend Boulevard intersection.

According to officials, 45-year-old Nyagitta Lee was in a Nissan Altima going southbound. A 52-year-old man was in a Range Rover also going southbound. Authorities allege that the Range Rover driver was under the influence of alcohol, resulting in a crash with the Nissan.

Due to the crash, Nyagitta Lee was seriously injured. Authorities recommended charging the Range Rover driver for driving while intoxicated. Additional details are unavailable.
