December 13, 2025, a North Carolina man was killed as the result of a car accident at around 4:37 a.m. along Highway 288.
Authorities said that the crash took place in the area of Highway 288 and Hughes Ranch Road/Discovery Bay Drive.
It appears that a 47-year-old North Carolina man was in an Acura going southbound along the freeway. Somehow, the vehicle lost control and crashed. The North Carolina man was killed as a result.
