Buchanan County, MO — February 8, 2024, Norris Davis was injured in a truck accident at approximately 1:30 a.m. along Interstate Highway 29.
According to authorities, 62-year-old Norris Davis was traveling in a northbound Freightliner on Interstate 29 in the vicinity several miles south of Saint Joseph when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Freightliner collided with the rear-end of another 18-wheeler which had allegedly been at a stop in the shoulder on the left side of the roadway by the median. Davis reportedly incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
