Accident Report
Hudspeth County, TX — June 15, 2026, Nidia Navarrete was injured in a rollover accident at about 6 p.m. on Interstate 10 near Finlay.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2024 Toyota Tacoma was heading north when it sideswiped a 2020 Ford Explorer. The impact caused the Toyota to overturn, while the Ford crashed into a tree.
A passenger in the Toyota, 49-year-old Nidia Navarrete, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. The other three people in the pickup were listed as possibly injured.
An 8-year-old girl in the Ford also was listed as possibly injured, the report states. The driver and a 13-year-old boy were not hurt.
The driver of the Toyota a 25-year-old woman, was cited for speeding after the crash, according to the report.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Hudspeth County crash at this time.
