Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
If the allegations here were true, did authorities ever look into where the driver got their alcohol from? In Texas, bars and other providers can be responsible for contributing to an accident caused by someone whom they unlawfully over-served. But too often, the investigations begin and end at the alleged drunk drivers. Were authorities more thorough here, or is there still more to the story?
