New Haven, CT — October 17, 2024, Nicolas Baltazar-Consepcion, 24, was killed in a garbage truck accident around 2:07 A.M. on Church Street.
This incident is still under investigation, but at this time authorities are reporting that at approximately Nicolas Baltazar-Consepcion was crossing the street on his bicycle near the intersection of Church Street and North Frontage Rd. when a dump truck hit him.
Consepcion was taken to an area hospital where he later passed away from the injuries he sustained from the crash.
At this time it is unknown what precisely caused the accident. No charges or citations have been reported, and any further details are currently unavailable.
