Nicholas Weaver Killed in Train Accident in Jefferson County, TX

Jefferson County, TX — January 7, 2026, Nicholas Weaver was killed as the result of a train accident at around 10:10 p.m. off Old Sour Lake Road.

Preliminary details about the accident say that it happened west of Beaumont in the area of Meeker Road.

According to officials, 40-year-old Nicholas Weaver was on foot at the time. While in the area of railroad tracks off Old Sour Lake, a passing train struck Nicholas Weaver. As a result, Nicholas Weaver was killed.
