Dallas, TX — July 4, 2024, Nathan Swearingen was injured following a motorcycle accident which happened around 11:48 p.m. along the Central Expressway.
According to initial statements on the crash, it took place near Mockingbird Lane along northbound lanes of US 75.
Investigators said that 28-year-old Nathan Swearingen was on a Honda motorcycle going northbound along the highway. The motorcycle reportedly left its lane and crashed along the median barrier. As a result, Nathan Swearingen was seriously injured.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Additional details are unavailable.

Regardless of what happened here, my hope is investigators were fair in their efforts. I see too many examples of people letting bias get in the way when a motorcycle is involved in a crash. It’s important to put aside bias and let the facts speak for themselves in these situations. It remains to be seen if that ever happened here.
