Nissan driver Nathan Nash, 19, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

How Did This Accident Occur?
Initial reports provide one possible cause for this crash, but it will take a full investigation to determine what happened on I-45. That should start with identifying the truck involved in this accident. It could have valuable information about the crash, in the data from its engine control module and any available dashcam footage. Many fleet vehicles these days are equipped with cameras, and that could help clear up what happened here.
Investigators also should look into whether the Nissan was designed properly to withstand a rollover accident. Many vehicles offer little rollover protection because they are designed to pass the government’s flawed rollover test, not to actually protect the driver. A qualified expert should examine the Nissan in a laboratory setting to determine if it had a design flaw.
The injured driver and his family deserve to know as much as possible about this crash, so a thorough investigation is essential.
